The idea of Yonderbound started long before it was ever a hemp-derived cannabis company and it was started by us, Eric & Megan—a husband-and-wife team based in Des Moines, IA. We don’t come with the backing of industry giants or fancy firms and we have no investors to answer to but ourselves. It’s just us, a couple who wanted a better way to enjoy cannabis out in the wild. 

We came up with Trail Mixers on the road, in the woods, around the fire, on the trails, and in the fields with our dogs Bodhi & Utah (props if you get the reference)—talking about how nice it would be to have something low-dose, portable, and that doesn’t melt when it gets hot or turn into a rock when it gets cold. We wanted it to be easy to mix into whatever we were already drinking and to be something that felt more like a tool for adventure than a full on production. 

So we built it. 

With a little help from friends and a lot of trial and error, we turned that idea into a product we’re beyond proud to share with you. No outside investors. No cut corners. Just a product we actually believe in—one that lets you enjoy cannabis on your terms, wherever you might be.
